Emperor of Rayguard - Bernhardt
Langrisser II’s heroes are all very powerful in the game, and the final boss of Langrisser II is no exception. He may not be the most personable hero around, but you’ll be hard-pressed to find a better ally in your adventure.
Recommended Upgrade Path: Fighter → Swordsman → Emperor
Recommended Skill Setup
Shield Bash + Hegemony + Sword Dance (Stable Control)
Hegemony + Sword Dance + Rupture (Damage – Consumes 1 Rune Stone)
Shield Bash/Fusion Power + Hegemony/Iron Fist (Support – Warning, consumes 2 Rune Stones!)
Hero Analysis
His talent [Lord's Will] increases your damage and reduces the surrounding enemies’ attack and defense, doing an amazing job of suppressing enemies.
His [Gladiator] class’s [Shield Bash] skill is very useful, providing reliable crowd control, and working perfectly with his passive [Hegemony] to remove the enemy’s buffs, as well as reducing their defense by 20%. Therefore, it is recommended that you use a Rune Stone to transfer to Gladiator to get [Shield Bash] before transferring back to the Swordsman route. His ultimate class [Emperor] has the super-strong buff [Imperial Power] that buffs your heroes when they have a class advantage in battle and is highly recommended for Empire’s Honor lineups.
The Continent’s Mightiest Knight – Leon
The mightiest knight on the continent, Leon follows the knight’s path with complete conviction, so it’s no wonder that he’s Langrisser’s greatest Cavalry hero. A descendant of Langrisser III’s protagonist Dieharte, the exotic sword at his waist is proof of his glorious heritage.
Recommended Upgrade Path
Recommended Upgrade Path 1: Knight → Highlander → Royal Knight
Skills: Assault + Thousand Hooves + ATK Break
Recommended Upgrade Path2: Knight → Grand Knight → Strike Master
Skills: Smash + Legion + Chivalry
Hero Analysis
His talent [Epic Knight] increases attack and defense for each block moved and allows him to move another 3 blocks after attacking, so it's important that you move as far as possible before Leon attacks to improve his damage dealt and reduce his damage taken. Because of this, you may find that you’ll need to bypass nearby enemies to attack further targets.
As a Royal Knight, Leon is very reliable, providing steady damage. At present, the most stable enchantment for Leon is Rough Sea. Another option, Clock, mostly depend on luck. It’s also worth mentioning that [Thousand Hooves] ignores Guard.
As a Strike Master, he can move 8 blocks and then launch a savage attack. The main disadvantage with this is that it's easy to stray too far from your teammates, so you’ll need to pay attention to controlling how far you go. And have you heard about how great the Meteor enchantment is for Leon…?
Princess of Kalxath - Cherie
Cherie can be obtained through the 7-day "Path of Light" event. Charming and powerful, Her Royal Highness, the Princess of Kalxath has arrived and is ready for action! This SSR hero is a descendant of two SR heroes, and her cute and rebellious nature can be seen through her unique skill set.
Recommended Upgrade Path
Hawk Knight → Dragon Knight → Dragon Master
Skills: Lightning + Healing + Wind Whisper or Lightning Speed
Hero Analysis
Her talent [Wild Princess] reduces the damage she takes when far away from her teammates, and when paired with [Healing] she becomes a very powerful solo unit. It also allows her to act again after killing an enemy (this effect has a cooldown).
Cherie's role is to assassinate the enemy's more fragile units, using her high damage and ability to move again to execute hit-and-run attacks. There are certain requirements for maximizing her damage, such as killing an enemy with Lightning in order to reset its cooldown. Make sure it kills your enemy so that it’s ready for the next attack. When it comes to enchantments, Meteor and Rough Sea work well for her.
If you want to further improve Cherie’s deadliness as an assassin, you can use a Rune Stone to pick up Sneak from her Raider class. This skill grants 10% critical hit rate when attacking and reduces the damage she takes by 20%.
Hero of El Sallia – Elwin
The liberator of El Sallia from Langrisser II, Elwin is perhaps the hero most Commanders are familiar with.
Recommended Upgrade Path
Fighter → Swordsman → Hero
Skills: Sun Slash + Detect + Roar
Hero Analysis
His talent [Brave's Will] grants bonus damage when initiating combat and enables him to recover HP according to the amount of damage dealt. The degree of endurance this grants is excellent and suits Infantry classes very well.
Elwin may have low mobility, a common weakness shared by all other Infantry units, but his buff removal and survivability skills are beyond reproach. You can try using the Breeze enchantment, as Elwin’s self-healing is sufficient as it is. You can also try the Full Moon enchantment.
His Legion of Glory Fusion Power can be used with many heroes and helps to deal with the dragons in the Goddess Trial, apart from the Ice Dragon, with outstanding results.
Belonging to both the “Legion of Glory” and “Empire’s Honor” allegiances, it’s plain to see that Elwin is an extre
